Wet Seal

Wet Seal was founded under the name Lorne’s in 1962 by Lorne Huycke in Newport Beach, CA. The name came about when Huycke made a comment about a model wearing a bathing suit having the appearance of a wet seal. The company was incorporated as Wet Seal in the 1990s.
